Arcade Systems 2 year warranty

We have taken many steps to ensure our machines will remain functional for a very long period of time. You can expect your arcade machine to function well without major failure for at least 2 years from purchase.

REASONABLE WEAR AND TEAR:

It is reasonable to expect a certain amount of wear and tear on your arcade machine as time progresses. Naturally your buttons will become “less springy” joysticks will become easier to move. Your vinyl artwork will gain a few scratches, some edges may have minor peels, and the control panel will smooth out in some areas.

A certain amount of owner/user care is expected and regular maintenance of you arcade machine can keep it running for many years into the future.

We offer very cheap replacement parts and servicing to all our customers should any damage occur. We built your machine and we can fix it just as well.

SOME EXAMPLES OF DAMAGE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY

  1. Damage caused by unexpected use, such as hanging your full body weight off the joysticks (child or adult).
  2. Damage caused by excessive force being applied to the arcade machine, such as collisions, punching or slapping.
  3. Damage caused by drink or food spillage.
  4. Damage caused to the arcade in transport.
  5. Damage or malfunction caused by the owner/user altering the internal components or software in any way.

MAINTENANCE & SERVICING

We offer very cheap replacement parts and servicing to all our customers should any damage occur. We built your machine and we can fix it just as well.

A note on software

The software on our systems is configured for our intended use only, and we don’t support any use of our arcade machines outside of their primary function.

A note on games

The games on our systems are provided free from the online arcade gaming community are are not directly supported by us. If there is a glitch or error in the game itself then let us know and we may be able to help however ultimately its not something we can remedy completely.

THE MANDATORY ACCC AUSTRALIAN WARRANTY APPLIES

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

  1. To cancel your service / contract with us;
  2. To a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time.

If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion.
